Bobby began his paving career more than 35 years ago and has since worked in every aspect of highway and heavy construction, progressing from laborer to operations manager at an ENR Top 400 firm and later serving as Director of Technical Services for the Michigan Asphalt Paving Association.

In that role, he led educational programs and trained design professionals statewide in pavement design and construction. He also chaired the MAPA/MDOT Asphalt Paving Awards Committee for eight years.

A graduate of the Professor's Training Course at the National Center for Asphalt Technology at Auburn University, Bobby joined PMSI in 2003 and purchased the company in 2012, renaming it Pavement Consultants, Inc.

Myron ("Bo") has served as a senior inspector with the company since 2000.

With experience as both a grading and paving superintendent for Spartan Asphalt and as an inspector for the Ingham County Road Commission, he brings extensive expertise in paver setup and paving operations. Bo was honored with the prestigious Sheldon G. Hayes Award for his leadership and craftsmanship in paving excellence, a recognition reserved for some of the finest asphalt paving projects in the United States.

His knowledge and experience make him a valuable asset in overseeing and managing client projects.

Jim has been a senior technician with the company since 2002. Before joining the team, he spent many years with the Michigan Department of Transportation, serving in construction oversight and inspection, as well as in the Bureau of Highways Executive Division as an analyst and computer automation manager.

 

Jim provides critical support through engineering calculations, quantity tracking, inspector hour management, and construction inspection. He also brings extensive knowledge in concrete inspection, earthwork, seed and sod projects, and land surveying, making him a versatile resource for both our team and clients.

Alan joined the company in 2020, bringing nearly four decades of experience in the asphalt paving industry. A Civil Engineering graduate of Michigan Technological University, he began his career with Thompson-McCully Co. in 1982, advancing from project estimator and manager to regional manager overseeing more than $110 million in annual operations.

 

In 2003, he was appointed General Manager of Cadillac Asphalt LLC, a joint venture between CRH and Edward C. Levy. Alan also served for seven years as the bituminous representative on the MITA Board of Directors and is widely recognized throughout Michigan's road construction industry for leading award-winning asphalt paving teams.
